Scottish Churches House appoints new Director The Trustees of ACTS (Action of Churches Together in Scotland) and the Management Group of Scottish Churches House, Dunblane, are delighted to announce the appointment of Carol Stobie as Director of the House. Sense Making Faith: Observing Lent Trough Sense Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) will again partner BBC Radio 4 and BBC Local Radio to provide a rich worship and prayer resource for Lent 2009.

WCC head announces he will stand down in 2009 The general secretary of the World Council of Churches, the Rev Samuel Kobia, a Methodist monister from Kenya, has announced that he will not seek a second term at the head of the world's biggest Christian grouping.
