ACTS

God of all –
of all the cosmos
of all the world
of all the Church
of all of us … and all of them
open our hearts and imaginations
to new revelations
and startling truths
of Jesus’ prayer ‘that all may be one’.

Release us from any narrow and arrogant
interpretations with which we burden ourselves
and others;
Liberate us into the discipline of discovering afresh
the surprising depths and breadths and bubbling overflows
of unity
with each other
in you.
