Resources to get you started.

Various models of Local Ecumenical Partnerships exist. The Definitions of LEPs paper sets these out and enables you to find the most appropriate form of LEP for your context.

Progressing in partnership offers a step by step guide to setting up an LEP. There is also a Progressing in Partnership flowchart setting out the process in diagram form.

The National Sponsoring Body flowchart explains how the Ecumenical Review process fits as part of the Sponsoring Body's work.

Sharing Buildings.

Congregations who want to share their building with another congregation of a different denomination may find the Sharing Buildings Guidelines useful.

Welcoming a new member of the clergy.

Clergy coming into LEPs may need to engage in a steep learning curve about the different traditions which comprise the LEP. This Orientation Process is designed to support clergy through another clergyperson mentoring them as they begin a new ministry in an LEP.

Guidelines for Churches Together Groups.

New guidelines are now available for Churches Together Groups who wish to write or revise their constitution. The guidelines offer some suggested text as well as raise issues which a group may wish to consider.

An act of parting.

The Joint Liturgical Group of Great Britain have produced an outline service which can be used when a Local Ecumenical Partnership ceases to exist.
