A resource pack for schools.

Celtic Journeys reflects the contribution of the early saints to the society and culture on which Scotland is founded.

The pack includes: historical background; suggestions for how to use the materials; stories for telling; and art, music and activity resources.

First produced in 1997 by ACTS (Action of Churches Together in Scotland) and the Scottish Consultative Council on the Curriculum

To mark the 1400th anniversary of St Columba of Iona and the 1600th anniversary of the first Christian mission to Whithorn, later associated with St Ninian.

Appendix (2012): How Celtic Journeys addresses the aspirations of the Curriculum for Excellence in RME and RERC.
