Conference Report: The Changing Post Office
An Opportunity for Churches to lead their communities in the provision of cost effective sustainable services.
"Recent changes in the organisation of and the number of outlets provided by the Post Office have to be seen in the context of other changes which have been occurring in the rural sector and in society as a whole. ... Information from churches in England and Scotland who had taken on the hosting of a Post Office showed that it was both viable and an appreciated community service. There is now sufficient experience available to help those who are considering such a move avoid the pitfalls which had initially to be over come".

Holy Week Resources from ACTS
‘Easter – The Week Link’, by Revd Stephen L Brown, Easter leaflet published by ACTS.

"Easter week is a bridge too many wash away. Palm Sunday is on one bank, Easter Sunday the other. Sadly, the worldly detour round chocolate, chicks and bunny rabbits is too often preferred to the more demanding and risky religious crossing. Easter needs the “week link” to make the connection and resurrect a true appreciation of all that has been done for our sakes".
