Shona Paterson

Information: Mrs Shona Paterson is the Network Officer for Church Life and Mission. She has additional responsibilities for administrative support within ACTS. Shona is the longest serving of ACTS staff beginning work with the organisation in 1989 as an administrative assistant, then becoming Administrative Officer, Executive Officer and following the 2003 restructuring, Network Officer/ACTS Administrative Officer. Shona’s role as Network Officer is to enable the Church Life Network and the Mission Network to meet and to achieve the aims and ambitions within their own remit. With the Church Life Network a large part of this work is dedicated to publications in the form producing Advent and Easter leaflets, then promoting and distributing these. A quarterly news-sheet is also produced which has a circulation of over 5,000. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, produced by CTBI, is also promoted and distributed from this office. The publications require close liaison with writers and printers and guidance throughout the stages of production. The other part of Shona’s role as Administrative Officer requires the ACTS database of 5,349 contacts to be maintained and updated. There are changes to the database every day. She also keeps a check on stationery levels and office equipment.
