The Network normally meets twice a year. Its membership includes representatives from ACTS’ Principal Member Churches and from three of the ecumenical groups associated with ACTS. These are the Churches’ Agency for Inter faith Relations (Scotland); the Ministerial Formation Group; and the Working with Children in the Church Community Core Group.

During 2007 the activities of the Network included -

i) The setting up of a Task Group, at the request of the Church of Scotland, to discuss the use of the language of the Trinity across the denominations; 

ii) Encouraging the Ministerial Formation Group to plan a conference, to be held during 2008, at which people in their first five years of ministry could get together to exchange experiences and to receive encouragement;

iii) Assisting a group based in the Scottish Episcopal Church to arrange a conference, scheduled for October 2008, to discuss “Faith in Older People”;

iv)preparing the way for a new group, the Scottish Churches’ Disability Agenda Group, to form links with ACTS; and

v)Accepting an invitation from the Church of Scotland to set up an ecumenical group to discuss ways in which the World Council of Churches’ paper “Called to be the One Church” could be adapted for use in Scottish congregations.
