Racial Justice Sunday: Sunday 9th September 2007

RJS is observed on the second Sunday every September. In 1995 the Churches Commission for Racial Justice (CCRJ) launched the Racial Justice Sunday, as an ecumenical event when churches across the UK are invited to unite together to mark a day to:

- Reflect: on racial justice for us and society
- Give thanks: for human diversity
- Pray: for an end to misunderstanding, racism and injustice
- Act: in a way that truly makes a difference
- Fund-raise: for national and local racial justice initiatives
