Anti-Human Trafficking Group

Anti-Human Trafficking Group

Today, most people associate human trafficking with sexual slavery, but there are many forms of human trafficking. People are recruited by force, and by deception for:

- enforced prositution
- domestic servitude
- forced labour
- criminal activities
- surrogracy
- organ removal for transplantation

While this lucrative global crime generates billions of dollars in profits for the traffickers, those who have been trafficked are robbed of their humanity and are violated both spiritually and physically.

In response the Scottish Churches Anti-Human Trafficking Group (SCAHTG) raises awareness of Human Trafficking and how society can defeat it.
