- Opening worship was led by the Rt Rev Susan Brown, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
- "Making Connections" the opening session led by the Rt Rev Susan Brown, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
- Rev Canon Professor Charlotte Methuen, Professor of Church History at the University of Glasgow, led the conference through a reflection on the "Appeal to all Christian People" (1920) . . . as a response to the catastrophe of WW1 and as the catalyst for ecumenism in Britain and Ireland in the years thereafter.
