Climate Change Day of Action, Coventry – 19 March 2009

A Day of three parts:

A Service at Coventry Cathedral at 12pm, with CAFOD, featuring music, performance and speeches from renowned NASA scientist, James Hansen, and the Bishop of Liverpool, the Rt Rev James Jones.

A Carnival Parade at 1.30pm with other Stop Climate Chaos Members, through the city centre

E.ON Rally at 3.30, alongside the WDM, outside the headquarters of E.ON, the company behind the planned Kingsnorth coal fuelled power station.

Join us, Christian Aid and our friends from CAFOD, the World Development Movement and the Stop Climate Chaos UK coalition as we reflect on the scale of our task, rally more support – and send a powerful message to electricity giant, E.ON.

Want to join in but Transport is your problem? Let Diane Green dgreen@christian-aid.org know by Friday 13th March and we can make appropriate arrangements, depending on numbers.
