Planning well under way for next Scottish Ecumenical Gathering

Planning is well in hand for the Scottish Ecumenical Gathering to be held in Bells Sports' Centre, Perth, on Saturday 17 June 2006.

The event is entitled 'Seeds of Hope' and will include speakers, workshops, and a market place of groups showcasing their work.

To date, confirmed speakers include Joel Edwards (Evangelical Alliance) Kathleen Marshall (Children's Commissioner), Jurgen Moltmann (theologian) and Alison Elliot (Convener of ACTS).

The planning group are keen to involve local churches in the preparation and running of the event and the logo for the event which has been unveiled this month was designed by local designer, Nancy Brookes.
