Job opportunity: administrator/web editor

Churches Together in England are seeking to appoint an administrator / website editor for their project marking the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act.

The project vision is to:

  • commemorate the 2007 bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act in a way that challenges modern society to engage with Christian values
  • encourage people to engage with the values that drove the abolitionists to change their society
  • challenge us to consider how these values can transform our relationships as individuals, communities and societies.

The post is based in London but some work can be done from home.

Closing date for applications is 26 May 2005, with interviews on 6 June 2005.
