A National Ecumenical Service to mark Racial Justice Sunday will be held on Sunday 12th September at Wellington Church of Scotland, Southpark Avenue, Glasgow at 6pm.

This occasion will also include the formal launch of Minority Ethic Churches Together in Scotland (MECTIS).

Members of the World Council of Churches Executive Committee will be present as part of their visit to Scotland.

As part of the World Council of Churches Executive Committee meeting in Scotland, the Moderator of the WCC, Rev Dr Walter Altmann will give a lecture entitled, 'Mission and Development: What place do they have in the Life of the Church?'

This will be held on Monday 13th September at 5pm at New College, Edinburgh.
