Last week in Belfast and Dublin the Irish Council of Churches launched a new ecumenical publication entitled ‘What the Bible says about the Stranger – Biblical perspectives on Racism, Migration, Asylum and cross-community issues’ (Irish Inter Church Meeting, 2009).
It is an updated and expanded version of a similar book written by Fr Kieran O’Mahony OSA in 1999. It can be viewed and downloaded on www.irishchurches.org. Copies can be mailed from the Belfast office of ICC at £5/€5 each.
